According to Google it is now officially Midnight in Japan on November 11th, which means the PS3 is out! I can't believe it is here, I want reactions, impressions and all that from you guys! Remember, Play B3yond!

Thread has been opened, for all who actually get it before the US Launch.
Well 80K units is barely enough for one per store. I doubt any of the "chosen few" will frequent these boards. I still refuse to reconginse this pitiful Japanese shipment as a proper launch, it barely qualifies as a paper launch.
It is still a launch however. You never know..maybe one person who gets a PS3 will be a member here.
I've seen them available in Hong Kong (Mong Kok Sino Centre) but no way can I afford it yet. One shop had both the Japanese 20G HDD and 60G HDD PS3 in stock. the 20G HDD version was $7999 HKD and for the 60G HDD version it just said $7999 + $1xxx HKD. But the official PS3 release in Hong Kong is Nov 17th and the official retail price for the 60G HDD version will be $3750 HKD....guess I'll wait :P

I got mine, i am also going to get one in the usa, i go to Tokyo all sumer so that will stay there with the fact that i cant stand the power outlets

4:30am (Thursday) - I arrived at the back of the line, which had already wrapped around the block. Midway through the day people started acting ignorant and skipping people which pushed the group i was in further back in the number count.
12:00am(Friday Morn.) - PS3s went on sale and i was not able to get one. However, the Sony store had 1500 units there. the first 400 were just for the party goers. The next 200-400 units went to the rest of the people on line and the remaining amount was to be shipped to other retailers.
(7:00am Friday) - Finally got my ps3 and put it right on ebay as soon as i got to work.

I just went to my local Target and they said they aren't getting anymore until February or March. Ouch.

I got my PS3 bundle in the mail today! If you didn't know, I didn't pay the overpriced **** on eBay. I actually stayed up all night on launch day and was able to order the 20gb bundle from CircuitCity.com which sold out in like 3 minutes lol. But yeah, it was worth it. And I never left my house =)
Oh and I actually payed stock price haha. I would have preferred 60gb, but I couldn't find any online.

Better late than never. I got my 60GB PS3 on accident a week ago. I walked into Best Buy looking for an Ipod just when they got their resupply in stock. :)
I got my PS3 Nov 17th via Gamestop pre-order. No hassles no worries... Does that make me L33T?
I got mine yesterday (November 28th). 60 GB for 600 even (employee discount from my cousin, plus a little extra for her trouble)
Now I just need a new hard drive for it, the memory card adapter and another controller

I've waited 18 hours in front of Best Buy here in Quebec, Canada. Man o man did it rain too, some game freaks had a tent with generators TVs and 360s set up for passing the time. I chilled with them for a bit... long night but it was WAY worth it... I don't even know anyone out here who owns one lol Some guy sold his spot in line for 600$... People or crazy when it comes to launch dates...
Anyways I also own a 1.50 PSP and installed the new 0.51 Devhook to it with 3.01 support... works great... Lags a bit but very usable.
